Covid-19 will have a significant direct and indirect negative impact on the activities of many companies which will face difficulties in fulfilling their tax obligations with the Equatorial Guinean Authorities for multiple reasons.
In view of the above, we decided to meet with the relevant Authorities and draw their attention regarding the need to grant an general extension of the deadlines for the filing of the tax and social contribution returns and the payment of the corresponding taxes and social contributions in accordance with the decisions of multiple governments which decided to protect their economies.
